1967年　京都生まれ
1989年　一橋大学商学部卒業、リクルート組織活性化研究所を経て
1997年　スタンフォード大学でPh.D.（経済学博士）取得
1997年 神戸大学経営学部助教授、科学技術政策研究所客員研究官、INSEAD客員研究員、ハーバード大学フルブライト研究員を経て
2005年 神戸大学大学院経営学研究科教授、現在に至る

専攻：イノベーションを中心とした経済学・戦略・組織論・心理学・脳神経科学
創造の方法論としての中国古典研究（陽明学、老子道徳経、大学）

特技：茶道（裏千家茶名）、四柱推命（子平館教授）、易占（大岳易）
